We made it to 5 years. I would express some form of disbelief, but that would be a lie. To say we “made it” feels like an overstatement. When one meets one’s Twin Flame, 5 years is just so small.
I also realize it hasn’t been the easiest road, mostly due to misunderstandings or misinterpretations. But those moments in time are behind us, and now exist in the broader spectrum that is our shared eternal experience.
Being a man of faith, I have found it difficult to speak in terms of one’s “life.” In eternity, there is no end. When referring to our lives together, we take for granted how simple that term actually is. We over-dramatize it. Our lives are simply our Earthly experiences. I am in no way suggesting that we shouldn’t make the most of them. But that’s what they are; Earthly experiences.
So, what does make up an incredible Earthly experience? The list could get very long, so I’ll spare us the task. One could chalk it up to a sense of control. After all, agency is something so very few know they have. But then, what of relationships or connection? Some may argue that when a man has attachment, he no longer has true agency.
I would like to make the argument for how the opposite is true. There is an author I have always loved named Napoleon Hill. He wrote a frequently studied book called “Think and Grow Rich,” among others. In it, he wrote a section on the influence a woman can have on a man, and notes that men of faith and commitment are likely to experience and accomplish exponentially more than their counterparts. That is the argument I make for deep connection. It is the matching of one’s true Twin Flame that provides the greatest Earthly Experience.
Alex—Finding each other was not an accident. It is the knowledge that our connection is eternal that makes this life on Earth so great. It is knowing that despite us being together for only 7 years and married for 5, that we’ve been connected for all of eternity, backwards and forwards.
In these thoughts, I take comfort, solace, joy, adventure, and so many other things. In these thoughts, I feel calm and excited all at once. No matter what we’re doing or where we are, our Twin Flames burn bright and hot.
Here is to Eternity.
Love Always,
Pooks
